Product Type: COMPACT DISCS

A refreshingly different recording in the Jazz idiom that includes Khan Jamal – vibes, John Rodgers – cello, Dwight James – drums and Warren Ore – bass. The presence of the cello makes for a very memorable recording as it brings a strong sense of rhythm to these powerful compositions. Khan has been a long central part of the Philadelphia jazz scene and has played with such greats as Odean Pope, Sunny Murray and Byard Lancaster.
